practicing for about 5 years and is looking for someone to
guide her with a pro bono case she is currently handling, but
is out of her wheelhouse.

<p class="MsoNormal">It’s my understanding Ms. Petersen is
defending a quiet title action and trying to undo a quitclaim
deed signed by a disabled woman who is her client.

<p class="MsoNormal">A stranger knocked on the client’s door a
few days before her house was scheduled for auction because
she was behind on property taxes. The stranger gave the client
$15,000 telling her it was a loan and had her sign a quitclaim
deed saying that document would give him the right to pay her
property taxes for her. He then notarized it and forged her
signature on a REETA and recorded it. The stranger then sold
the property to someone for $120,000.00 cash. The cash buyer
has now filed a quiet title action against the client. <o:p></o:p></p>
