<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Verdana">I’m recording a lack of probate affidavit and the auditor’s office informed me that I do not need/should not record an excise tax affidavit. When I reviewed the discussion on the list serve from May/June
of 2016 it sounded like the new HB 2539 required recording the excise tax affidavit. Is that still the case? Are other members still recording an excise tax affidavit when filing the Lack of Probate Affidavit?
