      account that then remained dormant, the bank would have been
      required after several years of dormancy to remit the funds to the
      unclaimed property folks at the WA Department of Revenue.

      department now operates that "claimyourcash.org" website to
      facilitate owners recovering their long-forgotten funds, so if
      she's not listed on that website, I suspect the she's out of
      luck.  You might try searching that website with different
      versions of her name, including possibly with various typos.<br>

          but didn't find anything. I thought a probate attorney might
          have ideas about how to track down assets in a situation like
          this. My only thought was for her to call all the banks in
          Wenatchee but some of them have closed/ changed since she
