<div>I’ve had a client with a similar scenario. Foreign company defendant, registered to do business in Washington. We served the registered agent and obtained an order of default and a default judgment. To collect against the foreign company my client filed
a receivership action in the foreign jurisdiction in order to liquidate the assets of the foreign company to satisfy the default judgment. Worked out pretty well.</div>

<p class="MsoNormal">We took a default judgment against corp. that does business in WA state. We personally served the registered agent in WA state. Registered agent confirmed that the defendant named was a WA state corp. We never received any notice of appearance,
letters or anything else to dispute that corp. was or was not foreign corp. doing business in WA. However, it appears the corp. is domiciled in foreign jurisdiction.
