counties do things differently, but I do not believe the statute would allow
them to charge double just because there are two different legal descriptions in
the document. I routinely will include more than one piece of
noncontiguous property in a single deed, and have not had any issues when

presentation by the Whatcom County Auditor. She was very clear that they
will charge you for two filings in this situation. It would also keep the
