Subject: [WSBARP] Litigator Needed - Whatcom County Real Property Dispute between family members

Client provided funds to father/step-mother for their home purchase about 7 years ago. For various reasons the loan/investment was not initially documented in a way that adequately protected client's interest in the property. Negotiations to ameliorate that are at an impasse and client wants to pursue litigation. This is in Whatcom County (parents are in Bellingham and client currently living in Europe), opposing counsel at the moment is the parents' estate planning attorney (Phillip George, Safe Harbor Legal Solutions, PLLC), and I have suggested the parties try family mediation via the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center but the parents refuse to engage.

Client is looking for a litigator - there are a lot of hurt feelings here, so someone who could really help push this into mediation would probably be a good fit.
