Thanks, that was my first stop. However, because the property had historically been the location of telecommunications services and equipment, the county did not charge any property tax to the entity. My individual Client, the adjacent property owner, has been paying the other tax-type charges assessed against the property for the last seven years. The county assessor shows my Client as the taxpayer.

Look at the property tax appraiser or tax collector website as to that parcel. Someone has been paying taxes.

Subject: [WSBARP] Corporate Succession
Dear All:
The recent thread about successors in interest to Washington Mutual made me think that I really should ask the group my question about succession.
The last deed to a particular parcel was recorded in 1956 and the Grantee was identified as "The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company." Since that time, there have been numerous reorganizations (think Ma Bell), reallocations, redistributions, and general passings of "the ball." I just want to find out the name of the entity that currently owns that particular parcel.
>From my research, I have concluded that Lumen Technologies Inc. is the successor in interest to the original Grantee. But now Lumen is telling me otherwise.
Any thoughts on how to discover or confirm the correct identity of the current successor entity?
Thanks.
