[WSBARP] City of Seattle wetland buffer

Looking for guidance or someone who is experienced with dealing with City of Seattle on a wetland buffer issue that has come up with construction envelope for a client's DADU. The architect has reached out to the city and talked with the Environmental Assessment company who has so far said they will not reduce the 50 ft buffer. Property is in N Seattle and the City’s Environmentally Critical Areas wetlands map does show a very small “wetland” mid-block (unconnected to any other wetland).
