I have clients amending the Unit Boundary between units. The title company says an amendment to the map and declaration of condominium will be sufficient without doing a deed of conveyance. I have done that several times without issue. Now I have a situation where one unit owners is paying the other unit owner for moving the unit line (changing the Unit square footage). Without a deed how is real estate excise tax reported? Do we just do a REETA showing the consideration paid?
