[WSBARP] Resignation and Appointment of Successor Trustee

I have done these appointments of successor trustee in connection with non judicial mortgage foreclosures since the deed of trust statute was enacted and I have never had the new trustee consent to the appointment

By the way, this inquiry is about appointing a new trustee under a deed of trust. From the examples I've seen in the Pierce County records, it looks like a signature of the resigning trustee may not even be required.
Any thoughts on that?

I generally prepare a new Certificate of Trust that recites these facts and is signed/ notarized by the new trustee.

On a Resignation and Appointment of Successor Trustee, are either of the signatures required to be notarized? (resigning Trustee and Beneficiary appointing a new Trustee). And is the successor Trustee required to acknowledge the appointment in some way?
