List mates:
I represent a Tenant who had written lease agreement with Landlord, rental of home had issues of heating, plumbing, with mold complaints and Refrigerator appliance issues that were either broken, unrepaired for many days. Tenant provided proper notice to Landlord to fix inspect and/or replace. Landlord took many days to either inspect or fix repair issues. Tenant sent proper notice terminating lease and vacated premises in timely manner.
Landlord has also refused to return security deposit and threaten by way of letter to Tenant to report them to the credit bureau(s) for failure to pay rent and/or late fees.
Tenant filed suit in District Court and prevailed with money judgment against Landlord.
Landlord appealed and moved the matter to Sno. Co. Superior Court.
Anyone have any briefing that I could use to crop off of and/or any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated, Thanks a million!
