Pierce County does not require multiple deeds if you have the same grantor and the same grantee you can have multiple tax parcels you would just need to have them all listed on your excise tax affidavit as to addresses and so forth for the assessor and of course if it's the PR be there wouldn't be excise tax due but the assessor would still need the names and tax parcel numbers to reflect the change of the name on the tax records but I've done as many as 8 to 10 parcels on one deed where we had the same grantor and the same grantee thank you

Subject: [WSBARP] PR Deed to Convey Multiple Properties (and assign REK)
Colleagues,
I need to transfer several Pierce County parcels via Personal Representative's Deed. There are 11 parcels in total. The parcels are grouped in sets of 6, 2, 2, and 1. Will the auditor's office let me transfer them all in a single Personal Representative's Deed (and pay one recording fee)? Or will they require me to transfer them in 4 separate Personal Representative's Deeds (and pay four separate recording fees). I would think I could handle this in a single deed, but would be interested in hearing about any experiences dealing with the Pierce County Auditor's Office on this subject.
I also need to assign a Real Estate Contract. I assume I need to record a separate assignment and reference the original REK, but I'd be interested to know if anyone has handled this in a Personal Representative's Deed along with the conveyance of one or more properties.
Thanks in advance!
