Never a day goes by that I don't get some wonky question that I have no clue as to the answer. Hopefully the hive has an opinion.
Client lives here and wishes to place a bid on bankruptcy property located here. Bankruptcy court is located in another state. Client wants assistance in preparing and making the bid. Can we assist, or do we need to be licensed in the state in which the bankruptcy court is located? Does it matter, because our client is not a party to any proceeding and just a third party wishing to purchase an asset of the bankrupt estate? Does anyone know the answer to the ultimate meaning of life? ( Douglas Adams fans know the answer is 42). No more questions for today.
