Not an IRS agent, and not sure he's still practicing, but when I did a lot of Federal tax controversy Kenneth Weil's publications were my bible, he used to be in Issaquah. He's on the WSBA list as active, for what that's worth.

Subject: [WSBARP] IRS Agent Referrals

[EXTERNAL]

Hi, Listmates.
About 15 years ago there were some retired non-lawyer IRS agents who provided consultations on tax issues. I think one of them was a guy called Dick Pilskog. He was pretty knowledgeable about the nitty-gritty of how the IRS system works. I'm looking to speak to someone like that-but my list is well out-of-date. Does anybody have any names / contact info of former IRS agents doing this kind of "tax professional" work they could provide?
Thanks.

Best Regards,
