LIistmates, I got a call from a down-on-his luck former Husky football
player (from the '80's). Hopefully someone can assist.

A former teammate lent him money to buy a condo, where he would live. The
loan, secured by a DOT, included negative amortization terms and a three
year balloon. "Lender" was not licensed by DFI or otherwise exempt from the
licensing requirement, did not provide any disclosures, etc.

PC is now facing foreclosure (auction date five months out). This claim is
outside my scope of practice, otherwise I would gladly assist. Is there
anyone out there who would like to speak with PC?

All referrals welcome, including self. If you're on this list, you're a
good lawyer, and I am happy to refer.
