Should be fine mailed to the PO Box. Plaintiff who serves the case is automatically subject to service under CR 5, I believe, because they've already accepted jurisdiction of the court by commencing the lawsuit. CR 5(a) does say expressly that "every pleading subsequent to the original complaint" can be served under it, and CR 5(b)(i) allows service by mail.

Client was served with a summons and complaint by a pro se litigant.  Summons requires, of course, that Client serve copy of the Client's answer on the "person signing this summons."  However, pro se litigant lives in a car and only provided a PO Box and a telephone number in the summons.
Who here knows how to properly serve the answer?
