Dave,    I would not  bother. The only way you will get a resolution is by bringing a quiet title action. I believe I recall that they don't have a lot of old records. But the reality is, they won't even engage the discussion without a law suit.

Hi, Folks.
Chase Bank purchased Washington Mutual (during the big 2008 implosion, I think). I'm trying to get them to recognize that an old WA MU loan on a mobile home was paid off. I have some documents I can show them to establish it.
Does anyone have contact info for the office or unit at Chase that might deal with this kind of thing? I'm hoping for a phone number, but a mail address would help too.
Hope it's not the Department of Black Holes...

For national banking associations, I send a legal styled letter to their agent for process, and usually their legal departments acquire the letter and are pretty helpful.
