Yeah, King County gets pretty ridiculous about deed-excise affidavit mirroring. I recently had a deed rejected twice because I didn't appreciate the extraordinary difference between "Jane Smith, who acquired title as Jane Jones" on the deed and "Jane Smith, formerly known as Jane Jones" on the affidavit.

The explanation they provided did not elucidate the error thus, the second rejection.

I've seen "John A. Jones, also of record as John Jones" before and would seem to work for your scenario if it's the same way on the deed and affidavit.

Grantor has two properties, which he took as John Jones and the other as John A. Jones. Recorder says you can not use AKA - REETA must mirror Deed - how to record both on one deed and one REETA? Thanks Mike
