Mark,
Provided the Grantor/Grantee conveyance language in the Deed states "Joe Name, as Trustee of the Name Living Trust U/A January 1, 2024," you're fine with the signature block simply stating "Mark B. Anderson, Trustee."

Subject: [WSBARP] Question re Trustee Signatures on Conveyance Documents

Dear All:
I've got a quick question. On real property deeds being signed by a Trustee I usually have them sign, for example, "Joe Name, as Trustee of the Name Living Trust U/A January 1, 2024." One title company has indicated that it is acceptable for the signature line to simply read, "Mark B. Anderson, Trustee" without referring at all to the name of the trust. The same title company would also seem to accept this abbreviated version in the Notary block.
My common sense says my way is correct, as it removes any possible ambiguity as to the entity on whose behalf which the Trustee is signing. That said, is there any requirement for the signature line to be one way or the other?
Thanks much. I hope your day is going well.
