I agree with Michael. Generally speaking, community associations are professionally managed and they are much better off for it. And it’s very common.

This is likely a decision regarding whether to hire a community association management company rather than continue to self managed the HOA.  If the association members decide to afford it, it is generally a great idea.

Listmates,

A small condo complex has the HOA board president proposing that the HOA be transferred over to a property management company. Before I did some digging here, I wanted to ask if anyone has ever heard of this, and whether this is even legal.

All advice and pointers are appreciated.
