Dear Listmates:

I am initiating a quiet title action to remove a really, really old lien from a piece of property in King County. One of the defendants is Rainier National Bank which, through a series of transactions, was acquired by Bank of America.

Please confirm that I can serve Bank of America by service on a branch manager. Also, how should Bank of America be described in the complaint (e.g., a foreign corporation, a foreign banking institution, etc.)? Finally, would the correct Defendant name actually be "Bank of America, NA"?

Thanks in advance for the answers.
