Hi, Folks.
A small businessman in Snohomish County paid IDT for over 15 years for alarm service. Recently during a robbery, someone broke in and took his safe, which had some significant cash in it. The alarm failed to go off. A technician who came to look at it said the equipment had become outdated.
A breach of contract case seems highly possible. But the issues about alarms and alarm company sound inherently complicated, so if there is anybody who has handled a case along these lines (or analagous), I'd be interested in referrals to pass on to the gentleman.
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Dave Culbertson
