People, RCW 59.18.140 requires a 60 day notice for a LL to increase the rent (for a month-to-month lease.) Is there any restriction to the rent increase statewide (that is, I'm in Island County, not King County). I'm not finding a dollar or percentage restriction at all. So, if the LL does a survey and learns LL's rent is $1,000 under market, there is nothing to prevent LL from increasing the rent by a $1,000? Thanks.
