FWIW, I agree with the first approach Kailei mentioned.  Just make sure the full identification of the Grantor on the deed to the RLT is also used on the REETA.

You could try in one step - GRANTOR Lorenso Jones (who took title as Larry Jones)...or a correction deed first and then the QCD to the trust. I would think the former would be fine to clarify.

Escrow is blamed for putting "Larry" on Deed when purchased instead of "Lorenso" which is legal name. how to get Recorder/State REET to accept its the same person and not reject QCD to RLT with no tax? Thanks
