25 for mundane work is more reasonable.  Minimum wage in king county and soon to be everywhere is $15.  Starters at some big companies is 17 or 18.

I agree with Kary. I have been recommending $25 - $50 for fiduciary time, and maybe $15 for things like cleaning out the garage for a very long time. I’ve been thinking in King County I need to significantly raise that, especially giving current inflationary trends.

I’ve seen as high as $75/hr approved for a PR that was doing accounting/tax work himself, but that amount was rather shocking. I think $25-$50/hr is more in the normal range, and as Inge said, it should correspond with what the task was.
