She's still there. Very knowledgeable.

Paul:

I don't have a good answer for you but you might want to try Kelly Owen at
Northwest Justice Project in Bellingham: 360-734-8680. Not sure if she is
still there but she is very knowledgeable regarding mobile home parks.

Listmates, research has not revealed an answer so far. I am working with an
elderly man who "sold" his mobile home("MH") in a mobile home park ("MHP")
to a buyer but never transferred title. Only a few payments on the sale
were made. Nothing in writing. Years slide by. Now elderly man hears from
MHP that buyer hasn't paid rent for several years and over $11K is now owed.
Elderly man's family inspects MH and it appears to be abandoned for a long
time and is filled with garbage and vermin. It is a total loss. I have
found the RCWs for an owner of a "abandoned vehicle" but I am hoping a MH is
different. As the registered owner of the MH, is the elderly man liable for
the past rent and disposal of the MH?
