[WSBARP] 60 day notice to sell

Mr. Dille -

I think you will likely have to issue a new 90 day notice to terminate per
HB 1236 assuming the new owner has one of the listed "just cause" reasons
(i.e. personally occupying or selling). But, sometimes it's worth taking a
swing (especially if you can convince the court that the buyer purchased
the property subject to the rights and duties of the previous
owner/landlord and, the right to terminate and enforce a termination is one
of them). You could also try to get the previous owner to sign an
"assignment of rights" in favor of new owner that lays this out. Not sure
it's a fool-proof approach - but might be worth a shot.
