[WSBARP] WSBA District 4 governor election

Colleagues -  For those of you who live in Eastern Washington, District  4, I am writing to urge that you vote for Daniel D. Clark for another term as WSBA governor.  He has done an exemplary job both as a governor over the past four years and as a two-term treasurer.  It was his detailed financial analysis of the costs (at attorneys' expense) for the LLLT program that lead to the Court's sunsetting of that program, saving us about $1.4 million that would have come out of our pockets in dues.
Dan is quite member-oriented and realizes that the Bar Association still has work to do in order to serve us as its members.  During his two terms as treasurer. Dan has consistently been a strong advocate for increased communications and transparency of WSBA's financial matters.  Dan works full-time as a senior civil deputy prosecutor for Yakima County and yet manages to attend every Board of Governors meeting and multiple committee meetings (which he did in person for three years until the pandemic restrictions), devoting time equivalent to another full-time job to his position as a governor and treasurer. Ballots went out by email to you on Monday and if you did not receive one, you should contact the Bar Association.  Voting ends on April 1st.
 I have served on the Board with Dan for the past three years and have found him to be analytical, thoughtful, willing to work together to find solutions to difficult issues, and filled with integrity.  We will all be well-served if Dan is elected for a second term as governor.
