Client has two people subject to an ejectment action. One person he allowed
onto his property for that person to stay and recover from some personal
problems. No landlord tenant relationship. The second person simply moved
into the first person's room without client's permission. Neither will
leave. The second person was served with a 3 days' notice to vacate under
RCW 59.12.030(6). Client wants to save costs so the ejectment action naming
both will work. However, if you combine a second cause of action for
unlawful detainer for the second person, do I need to use the summons form
under RCW 59.12? We are not seeking a show cause hearing. I know UD are
statutory creatures, but is the summons' form jurisdictional?
