Dear Roger, my thinking is the best course is to go back to the resort timeshare operator who sold the interest and see what can be done about returning it to them or obtaining a referral to a local broker who does business with that organization and sells their units. I hope your clients are successful. I had clients who fell victim to a scam but then used the methods I recommend here and at least did rid themselves of the units at little cost after having lost a good deal to the scammers. Yours truly, Doug Owens

Client is trying to sell timeshare; and is concerned about scammers. Do any of you have any information about a group called Resort Title and Transfer, out of Florida? Or any tips about how to reduce the chances of being scammed?
