Hello Unlawful Detainer / Eviction Gurus:

I hope that you all doing are well on the Friday before the Labor Day
holiday.

I just received a copy of an ex-parte motion for temporary stay of the
issued writ that is scheduled to be executed on Monday. I've not had this
happen to me before and I'm unsure of how to respond given that it is
ex-parte and we don't get any opportunity to respond to the motion. Are
there any other options or tactics to take or to we just sit back and see if
the motion is granted?

Can someone with a bit more experience and expertise in this area offer
guidance?

Thanks!

Warmest regards,

Michael S. Safren, Esq.
