[WSBARP] Beach of duties by brokers

I’m a licensed broker through the NWMLS. If the brokers are members of the NWMLS you or your client can file a complaint/rule violation through the NWMLS. The rule infractions carry some hefty fines through this process of violations. Only if the brokers are found to have committed a rule violation. It’s usually hand in hand with DOL violations. Also, arbitration is available through the NWMLS.

Thank you

Kaitlyn, once you get up to speed on the DOL rules, you may want to propose a mediated conversation with brokers, if the objective is extract damages from them in the shadow of potential impacts on licenses…

Hi Brain Trust -

I've got a crazy case where I'm relatively certain that a breach of a real estate PSA was the direct fault of the brokers involved on both the Buyer and Seller side. I'm looking for someone who has some in-depth understanding of the DOL complaint process as my client wants to see what options are available there as a remedy.

Would an attorney with this type of experience be willing to let me bend your ear for 10-15 minutes? Anytime this week would be great.
