[WSBARP] Mexico marriage

Greetings Ken:

On what basis does father believe that the marriage is not valid in the U.S? How would this be dealt with in the pleadings? I would be extra cautious and at least 1) address the matter in the pleadings (candor towards the tribunal) and 2) provide notice as required by 11.28.030 and 131.

Best wishes,
James

Subject: [WSBARP] Mexico marriage

A man and woman lived together for a few years. They went to Mexico and had some type of a marriage ceremony. Shortly thereafter the man died without a will and no children. I believe the marriage is not valid in the US. Can his father petition for PR?
