Client is looking at buying a vacant lot on which to build a house over
looking the Strait. The property is subject to a an easement creating a
pathway for public use to access the beach. As the path winds down towards
the beach it becomes very steep. Presently there is only a rope to help
people descend to the beach. What is a property owner's liability if
people are injured using the path? Is he protected if he puts a warning
sign at the front of the path?
