Colleagues-

Hi, I hope you are doing as well as can be expected in a pandemic... [do we know what standard of wellness is reasonably expected in a pandemic?   ponderings for another time.]

I have a client, owner of residential property,- in Ballard, [Seattle] wishing to rebuild a deteriorating retaining wall.

Hiring a civil engineer seems like overkill.  Not all contractors can build a concrete wall to withstand the next 50 years without a plan, and maybe even with a plan.

Seeking referrals to civil engineers who do residential  retaining walls, or contractors who have engineers on staff.

And yes, client has been advised... get a survey before putting in or shoring up a new retaining  wall.
