[WSBARP] Question re Legal Descriptions

They are one key off on the keyboard, as we use to say “dollars to donuts” it was a scriveners error.  Speak with a title company, at times they accept a scrivener’s affidavit if know the person who drafted the deed.

Greetings list mates,

 

I am reviewing a legal description for property in Snohomish County. The description uses a "?" throughout, for example, "...thence north 65?23' east 252.36 feet;..."  I wonder if the character is a scanning error, or whether that character is used in place of the "⁰" symbol, or ?
