Listmates,  I think I know the answer to this just based on how government works but thought I would float it by everyone in case I am pleasantly wrong.  Client has house built in 2017 and get C of O.  County does not correct the assessment and bills for land only for 2018 and 2019.  County now is retro actively assessing the property and is demanding payment in full by Oct 31.    My presumption is the government can always get your money.  Client says, wait, you assessed, I paid, my appeal period has expired so has yours.  Thoughts?
