[WSBARP] UD order for cash bond pending appeal need to be filed timely?

Commissioner ordered writs in a UD post foreclosure action. Defendant
appealled.  Commissioner ordered the defendant to post cash bond by a
specific time on the specific day that would be held by Clerk pending the
appeal of the UD action. Defendant failed to file bond by the time the
order specified. Order states that if bond not filed by specific date and
time that stay of writ is lifted. Anyone know of authority that would make
the case that there is no stay even if the defendant ultimately did file
the bond (albeit late)?
