Hi All,

I am cc'ing Inez Petersen. She's been practicing for about 5 years and is looking for someone to guide her with a pro bono case she is currently handling, but is out of her wheelhouse.

It's my understanding Ms. Petersen is defending a quiet title action and trying to undo a quitclaim deed signed by a disabled woman who is her client.

A stranger knocked on the client's door a few days before her house was scheduled for auction because she was behind on property taxes. The stranger gave the client $15,000 telling her it was a loan and had her sign a quitclaim deed saying that document would give him the right to pay her property taxes for her. He then notarized it and forged her signature on a REETA and recorded it. The stranger then sold the property to someone for $120,000.00 cash. The cash buyer has now filed a quiet title action against the client.

If this is something you specialize in and/or could help Ms. Petersen with, please reach out to her.

Thank you in advance!
Kim
