[WSBARP] Long Term Committed Relationship - Affidavit of Heirship

Listmates,

 

Client was with her partner for over 40 years; they were even married for a
short time, roughly five years.  They were never really apart, even after
the divorce.  

 

Partner recently died.  Everything held in Joint Tenancy with Right of
Survivorship, except an old car and small bank account in his name.  Of
course, no Will.

 

Have any of you used the Affidavit of Heirship for the vehicle and an
Affidavit of Inheritance for the bank account in this type of situation?
