If the easement was recorded in a year in which taxes were not paid as I
recall.  There is a statute on this point

Does a buyer at a tax sale take the property free and clear of any easements
that were placed on the property in this case it is a storm pond easement
placed on the property by  the current owner and my client has the easement.
