Hi Rich

Ask the GAL to do a report approving the agreed action as in the best interests of the minor. Circulate a Stip and Order outlining what is happening with the minor share of the estate and having the court approve the action recommended by the GAL. The order should approve the guardian fees and discharge him/her. Enter Stip and Order ex parte. Then file declaration of completion and close.

I prefer to give all benes a proposed accounting as well and get them to approve the distribution in advance.

Subject: [WSBARP] Closing Probate with guardian ad litem

Hello- my apologies if you aleady received this message as it is a re-post from another list,

I am hoping that someone can enlighten me related to closing a non-intervention probate that includes a minor represented by a guardian ad litem. The probate is in Pierce County Superior Court. The minor’s father has been named trustee by the decedents’s will. There are no disputes among the heirs and beneficiaries. The personal representative is looking to disburse cash in equal amounts to each of the beneficiaries.

Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

Rich
