[WSBARP] Warning for Possible Phishing Scheme.

I received an email last week from a "David Holden <david1 at ucdavisedn.com
<mailto:david1 at ucdavisedn.com> >" , Subject: RealEstate Attorney Search. The
message said. "We are purchasing new property at the moment. Please we need
the assistance of  a real estate attorney to help us close our real estate
transaction. Please let us know if you would be able to assist us. Upon
hearing from you, I will send you the property address and the completed and
signed contract"

I responded by asking him for some basic information and how was I referred
to him, etc. Next thing I know without responding to my basic questions and
how to retain me I get an email with the following: "Thank you so much for
the following up with our request. We are already pre approved. Attached is
the property address and the Executed contract. Please Kindly {CLICK HERE}
to view all the attached documents. Please  go through them and advise when
we can set up a phone call? Thank you for assistance during this process.
David"

 

This looks like a new phishing scheme. By the way the second email I
received was from a different email address.

 

Be aware and careful.
