[WSBARP] Permit for a House flip

Owner and contractor should agree in their contract – what if permits can’t be obtained? What if there is an unacceptable delay in processing or receiving the permit? What if unexpected work like expert report is required to get the permits? What if the permit is in the contractor’s name and owner terminates contractor?

More reasons for clear contract language between contractors and owners.

Subject: [WSBARP] Permit for a House flip

Hi All,

I have a returning client who was asking me about whether or not it was a good idea for him to pull the necessary permits for a house flip, or if he should just have the contractor do it.

Thanks,
