Client in incorporated King County has 4 large Douglas Fir trees together
one of which has an eagle nest at the top. Client wants to cut down the
other 3 trees (and eventually the eagle tree), but the US Dept of Fish and
Wildlife says that she needs to first obtain an formal exemption which must
be based upon an arborists opinion. She hired an arborist who instead of
obtaining her authorization, talked directly with the Fish and Wildlife
agent and told them that only one of the trees was diseased. I am looking
for a recommendation for another arborist (who may have experience with
eagles nests) who could give her a second opinion.
