[WSBARP] Mexican timeshare

Listmates,  I start the new year with the perennial question of how a client can get out of a Mexican timeshare ( Grand Mayan in Puerto Vallarta).  Has anyone had any success in getting a client extracted from these things, other than paying the buyout they demand?   Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to everyone.
