Melinda,

When time is an issue, I have used the working copy and advised the commissioner that I will file the death certificate when it is available. Have not had a problem, but it makes me nervous, especially if it is a pro tem.

Thanks,

Subject: [WSBARP] probate: Unofficial death certif?

Good Monday!

Has anyone had any trouble having a (Snohomish County) commissioner accept “Unofficial Death Record Abstract - Working Copy” instead of death certificate when opening probate? Thanks.
