Dave -

Responding to your below question - in my experience, it is ENTIRELY up to
the AAG that is handling your case. The flexibility is only as good as
their willingness. And even that only goes so far. In my experience,
inability to collect doesn't really play into it - albeit the worse case I
had in that direction, had probably the worse AAG to work with ..... never
responded to anything. Ever.

The good ones are practical about things. They also are very kind in
getting you up to speed on the process.

So short version, is you don't know until you try - and if the AAG is
willing to talk at all about resolution, they'll also guide you in what is
productive in your information/proposals (by phone if nothing else).

The adjuster is your typical point person. Get past them to the AAG. Even
they are not the highest authority, but that's who you have to work with,
and they have significant sway with respect to getting approval for their
recommendation. The adjuster may discuss things with you, but has no
authority.
