Colleagues:
I have a client, an architect, who is sole owner of a PLLC, and is bringing into the firm a building designer (that is, not a licensed architect).
Can the building designer be a member of the PLLC? Or do all members of a PLLC have to be licensed architects?
And, if the answer is that all members must be licensed architects, does anyone have experience with the practical method of how to allow an architect and a building designer to practice together in a profit-sharing-type partnership, but also receive the benefit of limited liability via an entity?
Sincerely,
Eric
