I think, if they are recently married, a post nup is essential for the wife. Of course, you cannot represent both or either if you have represented both of them.
If she later wants to convert to community, she can do so.

I have recently married estate planning clients. They are in the mid-50's and the wife brought significant assets into the marriage which she has kept separate and is planning to keep separate.
Is there a benefit to preparing a Separate and Community Property Agreement identifying and confirming the separate property?
